when should I book my senior session?
I recommend booking before the end of your junior year — My calendar fills up fast, especially for those peak seasons like cherry blossom season in April, summer sessions, and fall foliage. Booking early means you get first pick of dates AND the season that feels most like you.
can i bring someone with me?
Absolutely! I love when a parent comes along to share the experience — fair warning — moms have been known to cry happy tears! I like to keep it to one guest so we can keep the energy focused on YOU.
what should i bring to my session?
Anything that helps tell YOUR story! Sports memorabilia, trophies, your car, your pet — if it's part of who you are, we will incorporate it into your day. Senior sessions are all about capturing this specific chapter of your life, so the whole point is to make it yours.
when do we photograph cap & gown?
Not on graduation day — trust me on this one! We'll choose a date close to your graduation so everything feels fresh and celebratory, but we have the time and space to actually do it right without the chaos of the big day getting in the way.
how do i get started?
what if it rains on my session day?
Overcast days actually make for some of the most beautiful lighting — so a little clouds never hurt anyone! But if it's a full-on downpour, we'll reschedule to the next available date that works for both of us. I'll do my best to keep an eye on the forecast beforehand, but Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate — and that's okay. We'll figure it out together!
